No damage from last week, matter of fact we unhooked the trailer and just put it in the garage and haven't touched it. We did find some seat belt pads and put them over the belts. We will pull the kart out Friday afternoon and check all the bolts and tire pressures and that should be all we have to do! - I wish it was like this every week.

Weather really looked bad so I figured racing would be cancelled but by 4:00pm the rains still had not appeared. I called the track and the racing was still on, so we made a mad rush and had everything packed up and headed out. Lots of Rookie Champ Karts showed up tonight, 8 in the heats and 9 in the Feature. They broke the heats down to just 4 Karts each. Jaz got 2nd in the 1st heat and then 3rd for the 2nd heat. We did have a few sprinkles after the Heat races but they let up and we were able to get the Features in for the night. During the Feature race she made side to side contact with several of the other Karts and her motor died. The track official tried to start it a few times and then just pushed her to the inside of the track - I think she was complaining of her ribs being sore. After the feature they were able to get her Kart started and she drove off the track and stopped by the Ambulance. The guys checked her out and she seemed OK. After we loaded up the Kart one of them even stopped by just to check up on her. Jaz rested a bit and seemed fine.

On the starting line #3 Trevin's chain broke and he did not start the race - what a tuff break as he was sitting on the pole after winning both his heat races.
