We let the Kart and trailer sit till Tuesday, pulled it out and washed it up. Drilled a hole in the bottom of the seat to help water drain. Everything looks OK on the Kart. I went ahead and blew the air filter out and decided not to change the oil this week. We will re-install the seat belt pads for Jaz to see if that helps, no word on her racing jacket. It is Friday and we called and Jerry said her racing jacket should be here next week. Trailer loaded and hooked up with over an hour to spare! We had a pretty good rain storm pass thru last night but the message boards say that racing is on for tonight.
It was rather warm but Jaz went out and got 2nd place in her 1st feature and 4th place in her second feature. A family came over and asked if we were the racing team on the Web, they are thinking about getting their son a Kart and have been following along on our adventures! Super nice family and they just live a short distance away from us in Council Bluffs, I'm trying to get them to buy a really big trailer and then we can just carpool to the track.
Jaz went out in the feature and stayed behind the 4 karts that were mixing it up in front, one of the karts got a little off and Jaz grabbed a 4th place finish.
