Last week I took my "good" digital camera to get better pictures, I left the memory card in my pants and it has gone thru the laundry. I will give it a day or two to make sure it is completely dry, however I also did find a dollar bill on the ground last week. A track official was nearby and I took the dollar to him and said I had just found it on the ground, he looked at me and said, "well it looks like it is your now". It is Saturday and I should be pulling the Kart out of the trailer and working on the throttle cable but it just doesn't look like it will get done today...

Sunday, and I got a call about our 4x7 trailer for sale, I ended up selling it for $400. That goes right back into our racing fund and no I haven't started working on the Kart yet.

Monday, the pictures on the memory card are OK. I can't believe the memory card went thru the washer and dryer and still works!

Tuesday, took the Kart out to my buddy Wayne at Midwest Equipment. I had removed the gas tank and was looking for an idea on what to do with the throttle cable. Wayne rose up and beyond the call of duty and re-welded the plate and adjusted the return spring. I will lube all the cables and put the gas tank back on and thanks to Wayne we're going racing this week!

Thursday, just heard on the radio that the storms that went thru last night hit I-80 speedway really hard and that racing is cancelled for this week-end. It sounds like everyone is safe and just property damage. News report sounded like Kart track got some serious damage. Will post more later. Just heard that Friday and Saturday races are cancelled but they are hoping to have racing on Sunday.

Update:  Rain on Sunday cancelled those races.  We hope the best for the track and hope to see all next week.
