Official season begins. We didn't race last Sunday and Kart is ready to go!
Well the weather doesn't look good, rain and storms in forecast. When Jaz got home we checked the weather and Greenwood weather was showing storms with lightning starting around 7pm, Jaz does not like lightning! We checked with the track and racing was on, but we decided to sit this one out. Sounds like we missed a night of racing but storms did move thru area and at least we didn't get caught on the road pulling a trailer in storms, wish track was closer to us!
Saturday by afternoon we already had 2" of rain, Saturday night another 4.5" of rain, Sunday more rain and Monday another rainy day. Jaz had a soccer game rained out and it is re-scheduled for this Friday at 7pm and she does not want to let the team down and miss it. We might not get our racing season going until school gets out...
