17 Karts show up for the night and they ran A and B heats with 1 Feature. Jaz weighed 317lbs after hot laps.
Heat 1 - Jaz started 7th and fell back to 8th, then moved back to 7th and then 6th. She made a wild pass on the inside and took 4th and held for the finish.
Heat 2 - Started 2nd and made pass for 1st. She was running away from the pack but so was #24. He caught her on the inside and made a clean pass on the inside. Jaz knew he was there and she gave him room and finished 2nd. We had a drivers meeting a few weeks ago and the track owner made it clear that if you have someone on your inside in the corners, that you have to give them room to hold their line and NOT to pinch them down.
Feature - Jaz started 5th and fell back to 6th then 7th. Moved up to 6th then back to 7th, then back to 9th. Went 3 wide in the corner with Jaz moving up on the inside when she got pinched down into the tire barricade and launched the Kart in the air rolling several times before landing back on her tires! Safety crews got to her very quickly
