Not sure why the Kart wasn't running as fast last week. Removed carb bowl and cleaned out. Put everything back together and pinched the gasket and when we started up the Kart we had gas running out! Shut Kart down and removed air box and carb bowl, re-cleaned and put back correctly. Started Kart without any issues. I went ahead and sprayed some carb cleaner in with it running before putting the air box back on. Jaz ran hot laps and scaled at 357lbs.
Heat 1 - Jaz started 3rd and fell to 4th on the start. She was holding off the 14t but she made it around Jaz on the inside with the rest of the field following and Jaz fell to last place behind the front group.
Heat 2 - Jaz started 3rd once again. She fell back to 4th and then 5th, just like 1st heat. This time she was able to keep up with the field and caught 4th place Kart but couldn't make the pass.
Feature - 11 Karts for the feature. I adjusted tire pressure and we topped off her gas. Jaz started 9th and was able to get 8th and had to hold off another Kart but ran well and was happy. She had a great start and managed to pass 3 Karts but they threw a yellow (not her fault) and had to re-line up and start again.
