Goodwill Industries now taking old computer equipment
Goodwill Industries Inc., serving southwest Iowa and eastern Nebraska, is now accepting donations of computer equipment - free of charge.
Individual donors may bring unwanted computer components to any of Goodwill's 10 donation sites throughout Omaha, Bellevue, Papillion, Fremont and Council Bluffs. For a full list of the donation hours and locations, visit www.goodwillomaha.com
Goodwill employees and program participants sort through the equipment to either break down the pieces for recycling or refurbish components to be sold in Goodwill's retail facility at 144th and L streets in Omaha.
All proceeds from the sale of donated items help support Goodwill's mission of training individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages to become employed.
