Do I really need to clean my computer case?
You bet! Your computer has at least 1 fan (or more) that it uses to cool, it does this by sucking in air like an air cleaner. I usually just remove the computer case and blow the dust with compressed air. You can use those little cans of compressed air but they are quit expensive. Stay away from that air compressor in the garage, it has too much pressure! If you have a little shop vac with a blower option, that will work. Remove the cables and take the unit outside, you do not want to be blowing all this dust in your house!
I can almost tell every time, when I open a computer case, if they smoke in the house. All that smoke ends up getting sucked up into the computer case.
I have seen a lot of dirty units in my time but this unit pictured below has to be in the top ten worst! Yes those are real cobwebs!
