Help, I can't remove abetterinternet
Eeeeks.... what a pain in the butt! This thing wouldn't remove and I tried over 5 of the top spyware programs to remove it. In frustration I just typed in the address www.abetterinternet.com to look for an uninstall tool and they provide one! I downloaded the tool and tried to run it but it just locked up on me. I disabled norton Antivirus and the Microsoft Antispyware but the uninstall tool still locked up. I tried to start the computer in "safe" mode but the uninstall tool would not work because it needed an Internet connection. I started the Windows XP machine in "safe mode with network support" and it worked!
I rescanned the computer and it came back "clean" for any Spyware and then I also rescanned it with Norton Antivirus which also came back "clean".

Please keep in mind that MyPCTuneUp isn't a general purpose Advertising Software or Spyware removal company. It will only remove the above programs listed, in addition to a few others.

I don't like spyware and I really don't like ones that are hard or next to impossible to remove but I will give these guys credit for having an uninstall tool that really does work.
