RAGBRAI 27 (1999)
HOT! That is what comes to mind for this year, but what a great ride. Remember the head winds? Steve Forbes? The famous Grotto? Buddy Holly and the day the music died? The Y1k car? The Hooter girls in Waverly (the founders of Hooters all met in school in Waverly - every Hooters has something from Waverly, IA) After the 4th day of riding we had to return home, but four days of riding is better than nothing. Once again the mighty Liz drew the Cat on the side of the truck with electrical tape! The Cat even got to ride on the back of our bikes!
